The Forest Preserve District of Cook County requires an application from groups wishing to use their grounds for educational activities, including all field trips. Please download the Forest Preserve Consent Form and send it along with any additional description of methods or additional
participants to:

Please submit the application at least two weeks prior to scheduled activity.
The application is for educational field trips and activities by schools or similar organizations. Application for research study permits or any activity involving more extensive collecting should bedirected to the FPDCC Resource Ecology Section. Questions may be directed to the Education Manager, 708 771-1332.
It is assumed that all activities will take place during normal daytime hours of operation, between sunrise and sunset. Requests for after hours activities will be considered if need and safety preparation can be shown. No collecting except specifically stated is permitted. Please report any observed Illegal activities on Forest Preserve Property to the FPDCC police at 708 771-1000.
