Rivers Curriculum is a comprehensive four-day workshop for teachers. This year, the workshop will be held from July 20-23, 2015. This innovative curriculum uses rivers and watersheds as a focus for biology, chemistry, earth science, language arts, math and geography. The lessons are inquiry-based and hands-on. $125

Presented by Friends of the Chicago River in partnership with the City of Chicago

Expert speakers from Openlands, Shedd Aquarium, Department of Water Management, and Friends will cover topics on wildlife habitat along the Chicago River, invasive species, Chicago’s bridges, and the economy of the river.  This will change the way you view the Chicago River and how you experience it.
