Chicago River Bus Tour Workshop

This workshop is open to all teachers. Beginning and ending at Clark Park (3400 N. Rockwell), the bus tour will visit five sites along the river, each with a different character and each with a different subject to teach.

We will start at Clark Park (ample parking along Rockwell), visit Berteau Street (restoration), West River Park (chemistry), Northside College Prep (garden), and Irene Hernandez (biology). We will end back at Clark Park where we will conduct a 30-minute training on our THINK! Beyond the Banks. All participating teachers will receive a FREE teacher resource kit.
