We will have coffee and mid-morning snacks. In 2011 the Illinois adopted water quality standards to protect primary contact recreational uses of the waterway—such as kayaking and canoeing—on the North Branch, the Main Stem, the South Branch to Bubbly Creek, the Cal-Sag Channel and Calumet River. We want to bring people together to discuss what it will take to achieve this goal.

Please send Betsy Hands, bhands@chicagoriver.org, an email and she will send you an invite to the event with location and details.
