LABAGH WOODS PLANT & INSECT BIOBLITZ

JOIN THE VOLUNTEERS OF LABAGH for a plant and insect BIOBLITZ of LaBAGH WOODS.

On Sunday, September 17th, we will be holding a plant and insect survey of LaBagh Woods and you are invited to join us. We will be using an iNaturalist Project to photograph and document all the plant and insect life we can. (We will be glad to include all other sightings too, for the project, but on Sunday, September 17th, our focus is plants and insects).

We will set up a bioblitz base, where reports will be made by our experts and volunteers, and ALL ARE WELCOME to join us during our day. Come see what we have found, go out and join a team to see what can be found. We will teach you what you need to know, what you need to do. If you have a smart phone, download the iNaturalist app and get comfortable using it.

The volunteers will be offering walks through LaBagh that day, not only to look for things to document, BUT to show you what exists there that we know about. Multiple walks will take place throughout the day.

Join us for 15 minutes, come for 5 (or more) hours! We hope this will be a community event that helps the LaBagh community learn more about the wonderful wildlife that makes LaBagh home.

We will be meeting at LaBagh Woods at the picnic shelter at Grove 1.
