Michigan Avenue Bridge 94th Anniversary and Bridge Lift

Join Friends at our McCormick Bridgehouse & Chicago River Museum on May 14 to celebrate the Michigan Avenue Bridge’s 94th anniversary! This year, the anniversary coincides with a scheduled bridge lift – a rare event! – so join us for delicious birthday cake from Swedish Bakery in the Gear Room as we watch the venerable bridge come to life and lift out of the way of passing boats.

Doors open at 12:00 noon and cake will be served at approximately 12:45 p.m.. Bridge lift tickets are $10 and Friends members receive a $3 discount.
