Ronan Park Workday

Tags: Volunteers

After walking through, there are a few woody invasive plants we can cut and remove on the same side of the river we planted about a month back on our last work day.  So, please mark your calendars for:

Sunday, November 12th

10 AM - 12 PM

Ronan Park East

Meet near East end of Argyle bridge

If you could please RSVP to ronanparkstewards@gmail.com, it's not required but would be much appreciated so we can plan a bit.

We're going to be cutting the below.  Don't worry, we'll help you ID them in the field:

Tree of Heaven
Ash saplings (green and black)
White Mulberry saplings
Buckthorn (common and glossy)
Common Elderberry stand  - We'll be cutting these low so they grow back next year.

As usual, tools will be provided.  Please dress for the weather and bring a water bottle.

Thanks and looking forward to seeing you there!
