"Stormwater From the Ground Up" Lecture @ Friends' Bridgehouse Museum

On July 24, join Friends at our McCormick Bridgehouse & Chicago River Museum for "Stormwater From the Ground Up," a presentation by Krista Grimm, Illinois delegate and project manager for League of Women Voters Lake Michigan Region. Krista will discuss:

  • How more frequent heavy rains cause increased flooding and stormwater runoff
  • Environmental impacts of runoff
  • Choices residents may make to help our environment & prevent flooding
  • Green infrastructure options for homeowners

The lecture is included with museum general admission, and general admission is always free for Friends of the Chicago River members. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling (312) 939-0490 ext. 23. Feel free to bring your lunch.

The Bridgehouse Museum is located at 376 N. Michigan Avenue. Main entrance is located on the Riverwalk level.
