Chicago River Talks on YouTube

Friends' online educational series - Chicago River Talks - is available on our YouTube Channel. The 45-minute interactive lectures spotlight the river's history, geography and ecology as well as water quality and land management issues. Ecology Outreach Manager Mark Hauser hosts the program live at noon every Tuesday and Thursday through May 26.

Mark leads educational programming through the Chicago River Schools Network which reaches over 24,000 students on annual basis. Mark is a certified interpreter with over 20 years' experience in leading river, nature, and ecology programs. He received an M.S. in Natural Resources with a focus on environmental education from The Ohio State University.
