“Boats and Brews” is O’Fishally one of Friends’ favorite ways to celebrate the health of our river. Come out with the well-trained and well-loved Friends canoe guides for a great summer trip. Saturday, August 12, 2023 we’ll meet at Little Calumet Boat Launch at 1 p.m., paddle until about 3:30 p.m. and then head over to the brewery for a behind the scenes tour and complimentary tasters of their fabulous brews! This is a 21 and over event. No experience necessary, beginners welcome. Friends’ trusty canoe guides will help everyone safely load in and out of the canoes, answer questions about the river along the way and act as safety monitors on the water. We provide all equipment, paddling instruction, and safety talk. Space is limited, registration required. Trips start and end from the same location, rain or shine!
