The Calumet River flows through several south-side Chicago neighborhoods and 180 years of African American history—places and figures whose impact remains with us today. Join us to celebrate Juneteenth by exploring a beginner friendly part of the African American Heritage Water Trail and nearly two centuries of stories about African Americans who fought for freedom and equality.
