Join Friends of the Chicago River and the McKinley Park Development Council at our final monthly stewardship workday at Canal Origins Park! Volunteers will assist in removing harmful invasive plants, installing native plant plugs, and collecting trash from the park and river's edge.
No experience necessary. The stewardship team will provide instructions, workday materials, and refreshments. This is a family-friendly event, though we ask any attendees under age 13 partner with a parent or guardian. Registration is helpful so we can plan supplies accordingly and alert participants in cases of cancelation due to severe weather.
