Friends of the Chicago River and the Shedd Aquarium are working together to improve river habitat and water quality by planting native plants along the shoreline of the Little Calumet River. We will utilize Friends' canoes and trusty guides to paddle out to plant along the banks. No experience necessary, ages 13+, we provide all the necessary instruction and equipment. Just bring yourself! Before the trip we'll send you a confirmation email with what to wear, bring and a waiver to sign. Hope you can come, they are a lot of fun!
