Litter Free Volunteer Day

December 1, 2018 - 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Lincolnwood Centennial Park

Meet at the NE corner of McCormick and Devon

Come help us improve important river edge habitat by removing harmful and ugly litter as part of our Litter Free North Shore Channel project. Wear sturdy shoes, clothes that can get dirty and bring your friends! We’ll bring the gloves, bags, litter grabbers, and snacks!

Since 1979, Friends has been working to improve the health of the Chicago River system for the benefit of people and wildlife and by doing so, has laid the foundation for the river to be a beautiful, continuous, easily accessible corridor of open space in the Chicago region.
