Upcoming Canoeing Events
Friends invites you to join us on the river this summer! From the Calumet to the North Branch, we are excited to offer different ways for people to enjoy your local waterway.
Registration is open now for these events:
- July 9 – Canoe and Clean, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at River Park; $40 per boat / $30 for Friends members, 2 – 3 people per boat
- July 23 – North Branch Wilderness Paddle, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. from Skokie Lagoons to Linne Woods; $100 per boat / $80 for members, 2 – 3 people per boat
- August 6 – Boats and Brews on the Calumet, 1 – 5 p.m. at Kickapoo Woods and Blue Island Beer Company; $80 per boat / $70 for Friends members, 2 – 3 people per boat

- August 21 – Boats and Brews on the North Branch, 3 – 7 p.m. at Metropolitan Brewery and Rockwell on the River; $80 per boat / $70 for Friends members, 2 – 3 people per boat
