Dedicated Runners Cross the Finish Line for Friends

Congratulations to our 2025 Friends of the Chicago River Bank of America Chicago Marathon Charity Team! We are incredibly grateful to 15 individuals who dedicated their time this year to train for the 26.2-mile race and fundraise for Friends of the Chicago River to support our work to restore and protect the river system for all people, water, and wildlife. Our charity team has fundraised more than $22,000 thus far and is still fundraising until November 1.

Members of Friends’ staff cheered on the runners from our cheer section at the 3-mile mark at the corner of LaSalle Street and Wacker Drive.
