Your Opinion Counts! Tell Us What You Want to See for this Reach of the River
Please join Friends of the Chicago River and a coalition of nonprofits, government agencies, elected officials, municipalities, businesses, and engaged citizens in Redefining the Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal who are working to improve the canal corridor in support of human, ecological, and economic health by taking our survey available in English and Spanish.
Together we are working to reimagine the Canal and how it can serve and sustain our communities and the environment. This survey provides an opportunity for everyone to weigh in.
Survey:
We want to know:
- What would you like to see happen along the Canal?
- How do you use the Canal or wish you could?
- What might we rename it that celebrate the river’s improved health and the region’s important history?
- What stories and information do we need to know that we can use to ensure new investment in public health, conservation, cultural resources, economic strength, and climate resilience to the benefit of everybody?

All responses will be anonymous. This survey will take about 10 minutes to complete, with only three required questions.
