Cruise into Fall and Celebrate 20 Years of the Bridgehouse Museum

Join Friends of the Chicago River on Thursday, October 1, from 6 to 8 p.m. for our Autumn Cruise, a special evening celebrating the 20th anniversary of the McCormick Bridgehouse & Chicago River Museum. Enjoy a festive cruise through downtown Chicago with entertainment, drinks, and hors d’oeuvres, all while supporting the museum’s work to connect people with the Chicago-Calumet River system.

As the cultural anchor of the Chicago Riverwalk, the Bridgehouse Museum welcomes tens of thousands of visitors each season to explore the history and future of the river system. From Indigenous trade and settlement to Chicago’s growth, the environmental challenges that followed, and the innovative solutions transforming the river today, the museum tells the story of how the river has shaped – and been shaped by – our city and the region.
