World Rivers Day celebrates the worlds waterways by highlighting the importance of rivers for environmental and community health, and helps to increase public awareness for the improved stewardship or rivers around the world. As we battle the effects of climate change and move forward in the restoration and protection of our river system for all people, water, and wildlife, we need your support to keep our action and advocacy at the forefront of change.
Donate today through September 30 to expand the climate resiliency of the river system and support equitable, open access for all. Every donation supports Friends’ policy and planning, education and outreach, and on-the-ground programs that are transforming the river into a haven for people and wildlife now and into the future.
