Last Chance to Get Your Early Bird Tickets for the Autumn Cruise

Early bird ticket pricing for the12th Annual Autumn Cruise ends at 9 a.m. Monday, September 8. Act now to secure your place on this special river cruise among the glistening Chicago skyline on Thursday, October 2, from 6 to 8 p.m. The festive cruise supports the education and public outreach programs of our McCormick Bridgehouse & Chicago River Museum. The fun evening on the river includes drinks, hors d’oeuvres from local eateries, live music, and festive onboard entertainment.

As the cultural anchor of the Chicago Riverwalk, the Bridgehouse Museum welcomes tens of thousands of visitors every season to engage with exhibits about the history and future of the Chicago-Calumet River system. Providing unique access and an understanding of the dynamic relationship between the city of Chicago and the river system, the exhibits tell the story of the river from pre-colonization to its modern revitalization.

Staff are also available to lead visitors on interactive tours. As the only Chicago bridgehouse open to the public, visitors also have the exclusive opportunity to view up close, the massive gears and counterweight system that still move the more than 100-year-old bridge.

Autumn Cruise sponsors and guests make it possible for Friends to provide a pay what you can entry fee model to ensure everyone who wants to can visit the museum – including for free if they wish.
