Last Happy Hour Speaker Series Explores Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal

Join us for Canal as Commons: The Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal as a Shared Place to close out the McCormick Bridgehouse & Chicago River Museum’s 20th anniversary Happy Hour Speaker Series on Thursday, September 3, from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. on the Bridgehouse Museum’s Riverwalk Plaza. Friends of the Chicago River’s Adam Flickinger and Amy Heldman will lead a conversation about the canal’s evolving role as a shared community resource and explore opportunities to reimagine the corridor as a place that supports people, nature, recreation, and climate resilience.
